Athens Airport Smoking Area - Rate The Smoking Room

There are multiple smoking areas at Athens Airport. Available in the A-concourse and the B-concourse. Whether you fly within Schengen or outside, you will be able to smoke.

There is a clear distinction between travelers within the Schengen area and without. All gates A1 till A13 reside in the extra-Schengen area. You will find a smoking room next to gate A4 on the departures level. There is also a smoking room on the arrivals level, across from gate A22.

Want to have a quick smoke before transferring or leaving the airport? There is a smoking area in between the Schengen baggage claim area. You will find it next to carrousel 5.

Travelers within the Schengen area can smoke at gate B19. It is on the way to the baggage claim, on the arrivals level. There is no smoking area available on the departures level, but you can easily take the steps downstairs.

As a bonus, you can even smoke before security! There is a smoking room available in between the check-in desks. Look for it in between desks 106 and 107.

Athens Airport also has a satellite terminal, where extra Schengen gates are located. It is connected to the main terminal via an underground link. As far as we’re concerned, there is no smoking area in the satellite terminal.
