Madrid Barajas Airport Smoking Area

It is hard to smoke at Madrid Airport. You can smoke at Terminal 1 and 4 but not at Terminal 2 and 3.

Terminal 1, 2 and 3 are connected to each other and form the main part of the airport. Terminal 4 is at the north side of the airport.

Smoking area at Terminal 1

There is a smoking area at the VIP lounge in Terminal 1. The lounge is on the second floor. You will find the stairs close to Gate B26 and the Global Blue Tax Free Refund Point at Terminal 1.

Take the stairs up and go to the Sala VIP. Access to this lounge costs € 44 for adults and € 21 for children. The lounge is reserved for non-Schengen flights. You can only enter if you have a boarding pass for a Terminal 1 gate.

Smoking area at Terminal 4

If you want to get a smoke in at Terminal 4, you’ll have to go near Gate J44/45. There is an outside area here where you can smoke.
